As part of the larger Alexander Ross Holdings group, Unico has been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard after taking action on climate change by measuring, managing and reducing our carbon emissions by nearly 3%.
The Carbon Trust Standard recognises organisations for real carbon reduction. Based on a rigorous independent assessment, it certifies that we have measured, managed and reduced our carbon emissions across our operations and that we are committed to reducing them year on year.
This certification highlights how serious we are about reducing our carbon footprint and protecting the natural environment that surrounds us. The Standard allows us to demonstrate that we are one of the pioneers in the consumer goods industry, and are leading the way in the quest to cut carbon emissions.
Cutting Carbon is a priority for us as a business, this gives our stakeholders, partners, customers and clients confidence to know that they are dealing with a forward thinking, pro-active brand. We urge all partners in our supply chain to follow our example.
